Wildlife Theater

The Central Park Zoo’s Wildlife Theater Players perform interactive shows using drama, puppetry, games, and songs. Performances inspire audiences to learn more about their natural world and become part of its protection. The troupe works with schools, community centers, hospitals, camps, and at private events. Wildlife Theater is sponsored in part through a generous grant from Citi and the Citi Foundation.

Summer Programs

Young explorers meet polar bears, snakes, and the zoo’s newest animals due to arrive in June—snow leopards—during Central Park Zoo’s Summer Wildlife Weeks. From Kinderzoo to Junior Keepers, our multi-day wildlife camp programs offer live animal visits, zoo explorations, crafts, and fun. Connect your young explorer to nature this summer. For children ages 4–12.

Registration for summer wildlife camp begins January 15, 2009. Check back in mid-December for our complete program listing.
